Bavaria: dead couple found on farm

Osterhofen (dpa / lby) - Two dead were discovered on a farm in Lower Bavaria. Relatives found the bodies of a 56-year-old man and his 59-year-old wife on Saturday in the property in Osterhofen (Deggendorf district), the police said on Monday. The background to what happened is still unclear. However, it cannot be ruled out that the man killed his wife with a knife and then took his own life, it said. The two bodies are to be autopsied. Prosecutors and detectives investigate.
