Bavaria: Death of 80-year-olds in fire: corpse should be autopsied

Plattling (dpa / lby) - After the death of an 80-year-old in a fire in the Deggendorf district, the woman's body is to be autopsied. The public prosecutor's office had requested this step, said a spokesman for the authority on Tuesday. He initially declined to comment on the status of the investigation. The cause of the fire in Plattling also remained unclear. The body of the 80-year-old was discovered on Monday in a semi-detached house. According to the police, another woman from the neighborhood suffered a severe shock and had to be treated.
