Plattling (dpa / lby) - After the fire in the Deggendorf district, in which an 80-year-old died, the public prosecutor assumes a technical defect as the cause of the fire. A third party to blame for the fire and the death of the woman can be ruled out according to the current status of the investigation, a spokesman for the public prosecutor said on Friday. The body of the 80-year-old was discovered in a semi-detached house in Plattling on Monday. An autopsy revealed that the woman died of smoke inhalation.
