Starnberg (dpa / lby) - A drunk 17-year-old stole a palm tree in Starnberg and carried it through the city. The youth was spotted on Friday dragging the palm tree through the city at night, police said on Saturday.
When officers questioned the 17-year-old, it turned out that he had stolen the plant from a restaurant. A voluntary breathalyzer test showed he was drunk. He faces a theft charge. The palm tree, on the other hand, was returned to its owner.
