Munich (dpa / lby) - A drunk man fell into the gap between the train and the edge of the platform at an S-Bahn station in Munich. The man stumbled towards the incoming S-Bahn at Stachus and wanted to hold on to it, a police spokeswoman said on Tuesday.
The 51-year-old man with a blood alcohol level of 3.1 fell into the crack on Monday morning and got his hip stuck. The man was lucky that the train came to a standstill at that moment, the spokeswoman said. He was hospitalized with a broken arm and was discharged the same day.
