Bavaria: Drunk man in someone else's apartment attacks police officers

Kempten (dpa / lby) - A drunk refused to leave a stranger's apartment in Swabia and injured a police officer when he was arrested. The owners of the apartment in Kempten had informed the officials on Saturday evening, but the 64-year-old simply ignored the emergency services, said the police headquarters in Swabia South / West on Sunday. It was initially unclear why the man was in the apartment.

The officers then tied up the man. According to the information, he bit a police officer in the left forearm and threatened to kill him. The 64-year-old then vomited and was placed in a stable side position. When he got up again, he spat at the police officers with his vomit.

The man was taken to a hospital for his condition. A blood sample was taken there on the order of the public prosecutor's office. A result was initially not available.

Criminal proceedings were initiated against the 64-year-old for assaulting law enforcement officers, resistance, bodily harm and insult. He is also under investigation for trespassing.
