Passau (dpa / lby) - A young man was probably saved from drowning in Passau by passers-by. The 25-year-old fell heavily drunk over a wall adjacent to a river on Friday and landed on the footpath below, the police said on Saturday. Then he stumbled into the river. A 58-year-old passer-by and his companion noticed this and came to his aid. The drunk was taken to the hospital with mild hypothermia.
