Munich (dpa / lby) - Eight cats were rescued from a burning apartment by the fire brigade in Munich. The fire broke out in the kitchen on Saturday and was limited to it, which is why it was quickly extinguished, as the fire brigade announced on Sunday. The fire brigade rescued the animals at the same time as the extinguishing work. Two of them subsequently required oxygenation before being taken to the vet. The resident was able to leave the apartment on her own and was unharmed, but there was damage of around 30,000 euros. It was not immediately known why the fire broke out.
