Coburg (dpa / lby) - A young man illegally tapped electricity in Upper Franconia for several days. The 22-year-old from Coburg had previously been turned off by his energy supplier, the electricity in the apartment, the police said on Wednesday. He then laid a power cable from his ground floor apartment via the stairwell to the communal basement of the apartment building.
According to the police, he is said to have supplied himself with electricity for at least eleven days. The landlord noticed the theft and called the police. The officials are now investigating the 22-year-old for drawing electrical energy.
