Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - police officers tied up a couple in Nuremberg who were handling what they thought was a weapon. According to the police, the arrest on Friday turned out to be a "carnival pistol". The 25-year-old man suffered a panic attack when he was arrested and was treated on site by rescue workers.
Passers-by saw the couple in the area of the Lorenzkirche with the alleged firearm in the afternoon and called the police. In order to rule out a possible danger to the population, a large number of emergency services were alerted, including a support command (USK). According to the police, the couple had apparently bought the carnival gun new and inspected it on a park bench. According to the police, there was nothing criminal about it.
