Munich (dpa / lby) - In a shock reaction after a bee sting, a construction worker in Munich fell unconscious and had to be rescued by specialists from a depth of five meters. A team of high and low rescuers brought the 53-year-old with a so-called drag basket stretcher from the construction site to the surface, as the fire brigade announced on Friday.

The man was taken to the emergency room of a clinic for treatment after the incident on Thursday. The fire brigade was deployed with several rescue and special vehicles.
