Scheyern (dpa / lby) - After the fire in a farmhouse and a chapel in Scheyern in Upper Bavaria, the police are now assuming arson and a connection between the two incidents. There are also indications that the perpetrator or perpetrators injured themselves in the act in the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, the police said on Monday.
The farmhouse caught fire on Saturday morning, and the chapel burned a few hours later. The house suffered damage of several hundred thousand euros, and the police estimated the damage to the chapel at around 100,000 euros. The police are continuing to investigate the cases.
