Erlangen (dpa/lby) - Five children and young people were slightly injured in a collision between a school bus and a truck in Central Franconia. Two of them had come to a hospital for further treatment, said a police spokesman on Wednesday.

The bus, which was occupied by around 50 students, collided with the truck at an intersection in Erlangen in the morning for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The windows of the bus shattered and the flying fragments injured some of the young passengers. The students then continued their journey in a replacement bus.
