Reichertshofen (dpa / lby) - Five women were slightly injured in an accident in heavy tourist traffic at the end of the Christmas holidays on the Autobahn 9 in Upper Bavaria. There was damage of around 100,000 euros, as the police announced on Sunday. Accordingly, on Saturday near Reichertshofen (district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm), a 34-year-old overlooked the car of a 22-year-old when changing lanes, who drove into the other car despite emergency braking. As a result, a 52-year-old and a 28-year-old drove into the accident with their vehicles.

The passengers in the first two cars as well as the 28-year-old and her two passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals. The clean-up work lasted about four hours, and at times there was a traffic jam of up to 15 kilometers.
