Bavaria: Forest workers hit by a tree felling: dead

Mörnsheim (dpa / lby) - A 57-year-old forest worker was hit by a tree during felling work in the Eichstätt district and died. A police spokeswoman said on Saturday that he and his 50-year-old colleague felled the tree on Friday. The 50-year-old still provided first aid and dialed the emergency call. Before the rescue service arrived in the forest near Mörnsheim, the 57-year-old died from his injuries. Now the police are investigating.
