Fürth (dpa / lby) - SpVgg Greuther Fürth wants to make their way out of the crisis in the 2nd Bundesliga with bolder performances. "There is a certain fear and also a certain pressure that is sometimes paralyzing," said Kleeblatt coach Marc Schneider before the floodlit game at home against tenth-placed Hansa Rostock on Friday (6:30 p.m.). It is now a matter of counteracting this fear by having the team find their courage again.

The Franconian Bundesliga relegated is penultimate in the bottom of the table. After the frighteningly weak performance in Regensburg, which nevertheless led to a lucky point win, Schneider promised an increase in performance. "Nevertheless, we know about Rostock's very good transition game and the solid defense," warned the 42-year-old football coach.

Right-back Marco Meyerhöfer is about to make his comeback in the Fürth professional squad after around six months. "He's not in the right state to start, but he's definitely an alternative and will be in the squad," said Schneider. Meyerhöfer broke his ankle in the Bundesliga game against Frankfurt in April and has since played once in the regional league.
