Bavaria: High damage and one injured in a house fire

Frontenhausen (dpa / lby) - In a house fire in the Lower Bavarian district of Dingolfing-Landau, one person was injured and a lot of damage was caused. According to initial findings, the fire broke out on the first floor. The cause is likely to be flying sparks, which the homeowner said arose when reheating a wood stove, as the police announced on Tuesday night. When the fire brigade arrived on Monday evening, two rooms were completely on fire. The emergency services extinguished the flames. The owner suffered smoke inhalation. Other people were not injured. According to initial estimates, the damage is in the lower six-digit range.
