Steingaden (dpa / lby) - The fire on a farm in Steingaden (Weilheim-Schongau district) caused a lot of damage. According to initial estimates, the police assumed a sum in the seven-digit range on Wednesday. Several firefighters suffered from mild smoke inhalation during the extinguishing work that lasted several hours on Tuesday afternoon. The owner of the property suffered minor burn injuries.
Two calves also died in the fire. The remaining animals were brought to safety. The police are investigating the cause of the fire. There is currently no evidence of intentional arson.
