Altomünster (dpa / lby) - A girl was hit by a car on a zebra crossing in Upper Bavaria. The nine-year-old wanted to cross a street in Altomünster (Dachau district) on Monday with her scooter when a car approached, the police said on Tuesday.
True, the driver noticed the girl and slowed down. However, he then drove on and collided slightly with the child. The 73-year-old assumed that the girl did not want to cross the street, a police spokesman said.
The girl was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The 73-year-old is being investigated on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.
