Bavaria: hit by a branch: forest workers died in an accident

Stammham (dpa / lby) - A 46-year-old died while working in the forest in Upper Bavaria. The branch of a tree he felled himself in a forest near Stammham (Eichstätt district) hit the man in the chest area and fatally injured him, the police said on Thursday. Attempts to revive his colleagues and the rescue service after the accident on Wednesday were unsuccessful.
