Vaccination is "still the best protection against a serious course of the disease," said Holetschek. "One thing is clear: the higher the vaccination protection in the population, the better we start the autumn and winter." The aim is to "remove vaccination skepticism". Holetschek emphasized: "Anyone who belongs to a risk group should be vaccinated now and not wait for the adapted vaccines."
