Rothenburg ob der Tauber (dpa / lby) - An 85-year-old disappeared from his room in the hospital in the Ansbach district. A police helicopter, several police patrols and clinic staff were looking for the man on Friday night in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the police said. With the help of a thermal imaging camera in the helicopter, the emergency services finally discovered the "confused" and soaked patient in a meadow 500 meters from the hospital.
"The outside temperature was seven degrees," said a police spokesman. "The patient was found in time before he would have had health problems due to the cold."
