Passau (dpa / lby) - On Christmas Eve, a 29-year-old tried to sell two eight-week-old puppies in a supermarket parking lot. In addition to the woman, the police also caught two potential buyers, as she announced on Sunday. A police spokeswoman could not say whether the three had arranged to meet there.
The dogs were said to be too young to sell and not vaccinated against rabies. According to the police, the 29-year-old initially refused to hand over the puppies, which is why they were ultimately confiscated. The 29-year-old was handcuffed at short notice. The animals were not injured. They were taken to the animal shelter. The seller and the potential buyers had to pay a fine.
