Bavaria: In addition to the warning strike: Munich main route blocked

Munich (dpa / lby) - The passengers of the Munich local transport had to endure a double endurance test on Friday. Ironically, on a day when a warning strike paralyzed subways, trams and most of the buses, the main route also had to be closed in the morning due to an emergency doctor's visit, as the railway reported. The trains mostly ended at the Ostbahnhof or in Pasing, sometimes trains like the S8 going to the airport were diverted around the main route. The city center could not be reached. The cancellation hits the passengers particularly hard, since the S-Bahn is not affected by the strike and would therefore actually be an alternative to driving into the city.
