Hallbergmoos (dpa / lby) - Young people are said to have blinded the pilot of an airplane when landing at Munich Airport with a green laser beam. The pilot notified the police and was able to narrow the direction of the laser beam to the municipality of Eitting in the Erding district, the police said on Wednesday.
While several police officers were looking for the perpetrator on Tuesday evening, a crucial tip came from a witness. This is said to have observed three suspected young people aged 14 to 15, said a police spokesman. A teenager now has to answer for dangerous intervention in air traffic. The blinded pilot was able to land the plane without further difficulty.
