Coach Mersad Selimbegovic's team also won the second game of the season against Arminia Bielefeld, who had been relegated to the Bundesliga, 3-0 (1-0) on Sunday - and they deserved it. Captain Benedikt Gimber with a remarkable header in stoppage time in the first half, midfield colleague Maximilian Thalhammer with a well-placed low shot (56th minute) and substitute Minos Gouras (90.1) after a defense error scored the goals for the excellently organized Upper Palatinate.
