Bavaria: Lederhosen recall due to increased chromium levels

Munich (dpa / lby) - A Bavarian company has recalled Lederhosen because of increased chrome values. It is about the short leather pants with straps from Taleco-Handels-GmbH, as the Federal Office for Consumer Protection announced on Friday. Pants of the "Fritz Velor Hasel" model from 2014 are affected.

The chrome could cause skin irritation and, in rare cases, allergies, according to a press release from the company at the end of June. The trousers were mainly sold in the Munich and Styria regions. Customers can also return the Lederhosen without a receipt.
