Munich (dpa / lby) - After a forced break of three months, goalgetter Marcel Bär had of course imagined his comeback at TSV 1860 Munich in a completely different way. The "lions" wanted to fight for more valuable points in the fight for promotion to the 3rd Bundesliga from the previous table bottom SpVgg Bayreuth. Instead, after the embarrassing 0:1 (0:1) in the Bavarian-Franconian showdown on Saturday, coach Michael Köllner's players slipped off the pitch dejectedly. "It's extremely bitter for us," Bär admitted after his disappointing return in terms of points.
A foot injury had stopped last season's top scorer in the third division from the end of July. When he came on for Tim Rieder in the 80th minute in Upper Franconia, Bayern were still trailing behind.
