Bavaria: Man brings knife to the police station

Marktredwitz (dpa / lby) - A man appeared in Upper Franconia with two knives for an interrogation in a police station. As the police announced on Thursday, the 48-year-old handed over a switchblade and a cutter knife, among other things, when he was asked about dangerous objects before entering the office in Marktredwitz (Wunsiedel district in the Fichtelgebirge). According to a police spokesman, the man was summoned for questioning because he is said to have stolen a colleague's jacket. Because of the banned switchblade, he is now also being investigated for a crime under the Weapons Act.
