Bavaria: man burns garden waste and fires firefighters

Bayreuth (dpa / lby) - A 21-year-old burned garden waste in Bayreuth and thus triggered a fire brigade operation. As the police announced on Wednesday, the fire briefly got out of control on Tuesday evening. The man tried to put out the fire with a garden hose. However, he underestimated the size of the pile, so local residents informed the fire department. There was no damage. A fine has been filed against the man.
