Hilpoltstein (dpa / lby) - A 55-year-old apparently died in a hunting accident near Hilpoltstein in Central Franconia (Roth district). The man had already been found lifeless on Monday afternoon with a gunshot wound in a wooded area, as the police headquarters in Central Franconia announced on Friday. An autopsy revealed no evidence of a crime or suicide.
According to the police, the 55-year-old made his way into the forest on Monday morning. When he was not back in the afternoon, relatives went looking for him and found him lifeless.
