Brunnthal (dpa / lby) - A man was driving in his damaged car on the Autobahn 8 in Upper Bavaria with more than 2 per thousand. As the police announced on Wednesday, he crashed into a traffic sign in front of the Hofolding junction (Munich district) on Tuesday evening. Then, when he drove onto the freeway, he ignored other vehicles and endangered a motorist.
Officials finally found the 32-year-old on the hard shoulder just before the Munich-South motorway junction. In a breath alcohol test, they found a value of 2.32 per mille and took the man's driver's license. The 32-year-old must now also expect to be charged with endangering road traffic and unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident.
