Bavaria: Man killed by tree while felling wood

Hunding (dpa / lby) - A 66-year-old man was killed in Lower Bavaria while cutting down a tree. The man wanted to fell a tree with a 29-year-old in a forest near Hunding (Deggendorf district), the police said on Thursday. He was hit by the tree and fatally injured. It was initially unclear how the accident happened on Wednesday. Police and prosecutors are investigating the cause.
