Pittersberg (dpa / lby) - On New Year's Eve, a drunk pedestrian died in the Upper Palatinate. As the police announced on Sunday, the 68-year-old man in Pittersberg (Amberg-Sulzbach district) stumbled over a curb and hit his head against a metal fence. He was injured so badly that he died at the scene of the accident. According to police, the man was under the influence of alcohol. No one else was involved in the incident.
