Memmingen (dpa / lby) - A 22-year-old, who wanted to settle a dispute in Memmingen on Sunday night, was seriously injured by stab wounds and cuts. The 21-year-old alleged perpetrator then fled by bike, said a police spokesman. Because the local people knew him by name, the fugitive was quickly found and arrested early Sunday morning. The seriously injured 22-year-old was taken to a hospital.

According to the police, the suspect had more than 1.5 per mille in his blood. He is now facing charges of drunk driving, dangerous bodily harm and violation of the weapons law.
