Bavaria: More than 100 modules stolen from solar park

Tännesberg/Vohenstrauß (dpa/lby) - Thieves stole over 100 solar modules from a solar park in Tännesberg (Neustadt an der Waldnaab district). The value of the stolen items is around 18,000 euros, the police said on Wednesday. In Vohenstrauss, around twelve kilometers away, modules were laid out for transport in a solar park there, but were not then stolen. The crimes are believed to have happened between Sunday and Tuesday. The criminal police determined because of damage to property and serious gang theft.
