Bavaria: Motorcyclist dies after a collision with a car

Schwarzenbach an der Saale (dpa/lby) - A motorcyclist died after a collision with a car near Schwarzenbach an der Saale (Hof district). The 66-year-old came into oncoming traffic on Wednesday evening for reasons that are still unclear, as the police announced on Thursday. The 28-year-old driver of the oncoming car failed to swerve and the motorcycle and car collided. The motorcycle was thrown into another car as a result of the collision. The motorcyclist died from his injuries at the scene of the accident. The drivers of the two cars were unharmed, according to a police spokeswoman.
