Bad Reichenhall (dpa / lby) - A 54-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision with a car on federal highway 21 near Bad Reichenhall. As the police reported on Friday, the driver wanted to turn left into a property on the busy Bad Reichenhall and Schneizlreuth road the night before. The oncoming motorcyclist on the other side of the road crashed into the car. The 54-year-old was thrown onto the street and died at the scene of the accident.
The public prosecutor's office in Traunstein, which had both vehicles secured, is now investigating. The scene of the accident was closed for more than four hours, and there were long traffic jams in both directions.
