Bavaria: Munich Arp should change permanently to Holstein Kiel

Zell am See (dpa / lby) - The Munich striker Fiete Arp is to change permanently to the second division soccer team Holstein Kiel. The 22-year-old was loaned to Kiel by FC Bayern last season. Now he wants to switch completely to the Schleswig-Holsteiners.

"I hope that we can come to a decision in the Fiete Arp case in a timely manner," sports director Uwe Stöver told the "Kieler Nachrichten" (Friday). The contract with Bayern has not yet been terminated. He had "obtained a guest performance permit for Arp until July 3rd," said Stöver.

The team is currently preparing for the new season at the training camp in Zell am See in Austria. Arp will be with Kiel in the friendly against Austrian first division club Wolfsberger AC on Saturday. The team travels back the day after.

Last season Arp played 24 second division games for Kiel and scored two goals. His contract in Munich expires in the summer of 2023.
