The public prosecutor's office had informed those involved in the process in writing of the conceivable range of punishment for the respective accused. According to the assessment of senior public prosecutor Maximilian Laubmeier, the main defendants must expect suspended prison sentences. Should a deal come about, the hearing of evidence should be significantly shorter and the process should end earlier than originally planned.
