Bavaria: Oil furnace on fire: 100,000 euros in damage and one injured

Geiselhöring (dpa/lby) - an oil furnace fire in the Straubing-Bogen district caused damage of around 100,000 euros - a man was slightly injured. The 52-year-old was woken up by a smoke detector on Thursday morning and was able to save himself, the police said. When the fire brigade arrived, the roof of the house was already on fire. A total of almost 90 emergency services were on site. What caused the fire was initially unclear.
