Augsburg (dpa / lby) - In Augsburg, an 87-year-old woman allegedly killed her daughter in need of care and attempted suicide. As the police and prosecutors reported on Monday, a relative called the emergency services on Friday and reported that the 57-year-old daughter was dead.
According to the previous investigations, the mother had strangled her daughter, who had been disabled since birth and was in need of care, in the shared apartment. The old woman then tried to take her own life. An arrest warrant was issued against the 87-year-old over the weekend. The woman was taken to a correctional facility. Investigators did not provide any further information about the case.
