Bavaria: Pane of a synagogue in Upper Franconia damaged

Ermreuth (dpa / lby) - A window at the synagogue in Ermreuth (Forchheim district) was damaged. Police and prosecutors have started investigations. The window at the entrance was probably broken on New Year's Eve, the authorities said on Wednesday evening. A walker had noticed the incident on New Year's morning. The background is still unclear. The police and prosecutors are therefore looking for witnesses and are asking who saw suspicious people at the synagogue.
