Kirchehrenbach (dpa / lby) - A 33-year-old paraglider crashed in Franconian Switzerland near Kirchehrenbach (Forchheim district). As the police announced on Monday, the man fell into a crevice on Sunday afternoon after a gust of wind had caught him. He sustained minor injuries to his leg.
The wind pushed the man's paraglider against a rock on the so-called Walberla, a crest of the Ehrenbürg. There he got caught in a tree. The 33-year-old lost control of the paraglider, fell and landed in a crevice about five meters below the mountain surface. An ambulance took the injured to a hospital.
