Langweid am Lech (dpa / lby) - Five passers-by saved a 61-year-old from drowning in Langweid am Lech (Augsburg district). The three men and two women saw the bathing pond on Thursday as the woman threw her arms around in the water, the police said on Friday. Without hesitation, they jumped into the water, brought the woman to shore and resuscitated her. Rescue workers took the 61-year-old to the hospital. The police could not initially say on Friday whether there was a danger to life.
