Geisenhofen (dpa / lby) - A 25-year-old police officer was seriously injured during an operation in front of a discotheque in Upper Bavaria. The officers wanted to check a 30-year-old in Geisenhofen on Monday morning, but he put up considerable resistance, a police spokesman said. With "considerable effort" he was fixed by the officials. The policeman was injured in the leg. He was then taken to a hospital.
The officials were originally called to a mass brawl, which did not happen, as local police found. The 30-year-old is said to have had an argument with a security guard. The background to this was initially unclear, since the around ten people present refused to cooperate, according to the police. The 30-year-old is now facing criminal proceedings.
