Straubing (dpa / lby) - At the Gäuboden folk festival there was the third accident with a ride within three days. On Tuesday afternoon, a 14-year-old was slightly injured when a rope of a spherical trolley broke while prestressing, the police said in Straubing in the evening. The ball jerked downwards. The 14-year-old was in it with a 40-year-old who was unharmed. The ball is usually thrown into the air by two bungee cords. The Straubing Police Inspectorate has started investigating how the accident happened and ordered a technical report.
On the previous two evenings at the Gäubodenfest there had also been an accident with one or a slightly injured person.
