Mitwitz (dpa / lby) - A scooter driver died in a collision with a truck in Upper Franconia. The 70-year-old turned right on a street in Mitwitz (Kronach district) on Monday morning and got into the opposite lane, the police said. She collided head-on with the truck. According to the information, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident. The road had to be closed for about three hours.
