Munich (dpa / lby) - In a traffic accident involving several vehicles near the Theresienwiese in Munich, two people were slightly injured. As the police announced on Tuesday, a 40-year-old driver had lost control of his car, probably due to a neurological illness. He crashed into a motorcycle in front of him at high speed, throwing the 20-year-old driver onto the hood and onto the sidewalk.
According to the information, the 40-year-old drove on and collided sideways with a car. The car then crashed into three other vehicles in front of him. Another vehicle was pushed against the curb.
A 41-year-old passenger from an involved car and the 20-year-old motorcyclist were treated in hospital with minor injuries. The person who caused the accident was also taken to the hospital due to the illness on Monday. The police estimate the property damage to be in the mid five-digit range.
