Bavaria: Small timetable change on June 12: More trains in the Allgäu

Munich (dpa / lby) - Additional trains and adjusted departure times: With the so-called small timetable change on June 12, there are several changes in rail traffic in Bavaria. On the Kempten - Hergatz route, four new connections will be added to the hourly service on the RE 7 and RE 70 lines in the morning and late afternoon, as the Bavarian Railway Company (BEG) announced on Wednesday.

In addition, the first trains on the RE 70 (Lindau Island from 6.08 a.m.) and RE 76 (Oberstdorf from 61.7 a.m.) lines to Munich via Kempten also run on Sundays and public holidays, i.e. daily.

On the RE 41 Nuremberg - Neustadt Waldnaab line, the previous isolated stops in Etzenricht at 1:35 p.m. and 8:09 p.m. will no longer be available. According to the BEG, this improves the connections of line RB 23 from Marktredwitz and Schwandorf to the regional express to Nuremberg in the evenings in Weiden.

And in Middle Franconia, most of the S6 trains in the direction of Nuremberg depart a few minutes earlier with the timetable change.
